Seaside was founded by Jeff Ehrich and David Casale and is the realization of their dream to work together in the construction industry. Jeff has tremendous industry experience having spent nine years at Lennar Homes, Houston's Largest home builder and one of the largest in the nation. Starting as a Construction Manager, Jeff's work ethic and knowledge propelled him through the ranks to Director of Construction, Director of Sales and eventually Vice President of Operations. As Construction Manager, Jeff built over 100 homes in the greater Houston area. As Vice President of Operations, Jeff was responsible for the construction of over 1,100 new homes annually. Jeff choose to leave the corporate world to follow his dream of being a custom home builder. He is now focused on making Seaside Construction the premier custom beach home company on the Texas coast. He is experienced with a wide variety of residential construction techniques to include slab on grades, elevated beach Homes, modular homes, town homes and many more. Married with three children, Jeff is a graduate of the University of Houston. and a full time resident of Galveston, Texas
Dave started in construction over twenty years ago as a framer for a custom home builder. After military service, Dave worked in operations and project management with a commercial firm in Houston serving as Vice President of Operations. Major clients managed by Dave included Shell Oil, Union Pacific Railroad and Memorial Hermann Healthcare. Active in the community, Dave is V. P. of the Board of the Galveston Seafarers' Center, serves on the City of Galveston Neighborhood Master Plan Committee, volunteers for Gleanings From The Harvest/Galveston County Food Bank and is the former President of the Gulf Coast UDT/SEAL Association. He is a past Galveston County Big Brother and volunteer for the Galveston Recovery Committee. Dave is a graduate of La Salle University in Philadelphia.
US Navy veterans and a former SEAL (Dave) and Force Recon (Jeff), both share an intense commitment to excellence and their clients.
Donald Jones (Construction Manager) came from a family of carpenters. His father, his uncle's and brothers were all master carpenters. Growing up he had the ability to learn a wide variety of specialized wood crafts. At the age of 18 he volunteered to serve his country, joined the U.S. Army and became a Ranger. After an honorable discharge he decided to start a career in the framing area of carpentry. 2 years later he started his own company and during that time he went to school to earn a degree from APSU in Biology. In early 2005 he sold his company and moved to Houston, Texas where he worked for Lennar homes till 2010 when he decided to start his own company again and begin working on his Masters degree in microbiology. Don is married with two children.
